Photo Workshop

C.A.R.E.S. Photo Workshop

CARES students are involved in a photo workshop that uses photography to tell personal stories. Photographer Annie Levy, through the Photo ID Foundation, brought cameras and her expertise to help students not only take photographs representing their current lives but also to imagine their futures. This summer’s group culminated in an exhibit that was held in the lobby of Roosevelt Hospital. In attendance were CARES students, their families, CARES staff, and hospital leadership. This workshop will continue into the fall as an after school program for those students who have taken to the modality of photography as a means of creativity as well as therapeutic growth. CARES and Annie Levy/Photo ID Foundation would like to thank Waterside Plaza for their generous support in making this project possible.
